Invitation – Round Table
Debt investments into India
As US equity markets receive large inflows of capital, yield hungry global investors look to foreign markets for higher debt yields. Regulators in India may have addressed some of the appetite for yield by deepening Indian bond markets, as regulatory changes allow for broader categories of investors, while removing certain limitations on the types of foreign investors and registration requirements.
On May 7th, our one hour discussion, and question-answer follow up, will be tailored to address the recent Indian regulatory changes to debt capital markets, and specifically focus on opportunities within Indian real estate capital markets. The discussion will be led by Joseph F. Daniels, Partner, at the New York offices of Loeb and Loeb and Ruchir Sinha, Head Debt and Private Equity in Real Estate at Nishith Desai Associates. Thereafter, we'll have a question and answer session with industry participants, based in New York.
Nishith Desai Associates held a roundtable in Mumbai on the subject on April 10, 2013. Video, transcript and reference material circulated in the session can be found by clicking here.
